Our goal is to place our homeless rescues in permanent loving homes, as their former owners have already abandoned them at least once before. As we strive to place the appropriate dog in the appropriate home, this application helps us to learn more about you, your home and your level of experience, if any, with dogs.

Terms of Adoption
Adoption Process:
The adoption process includes a completed application, a check of your personal and vet references, permission from landlord (if you rent), a phone interview, and a home visit with all family members and pets present. When feasible, a meet and greet with your potential pet is also recommended. If you are adopting with us, you will also be required to sign a contract which stipulates that if for any reason you can no longer keep your new pet, he or she MUST be returned directly to us. This is to ensure the safety of our animals.
Your Responsibilities as an Adopter:
Your new pet will need vet care, after being adopted, including checkups, boosters or titer tests, heartworm and flea/tick preventative medications, etc. Adopting is a lifelong commitment to your new friend. We expect that all of our animals will be indoor pets treated as family members. If at any point, we determine that this is not the case, the animal will be removed from your care and taken back into custody of the rescue immediately.
